Lost his head!!
Oh, dear. He lost his head even though he has angels at his side. Face oeste of Notre Dame de Paris features this handsome quartet. I wish I knew more of my saints but there are so many. Could this be John the Baptist? If so, where is Salome....must be hidden under seven veils. Speaking of heads, mine is so congested I can't think very well.

Haxo, I've always loved this story. It's great for my American visitors who come to see me. Isn't there something also about all of the statues having their heads broken off during the revolution also?

Hey Johnny - are you feeling better now? I've missed you being around or are you still annoyed by Beta, for which i sympathise. Having now changed to it myself, though, things are improved.

Great idea Michael!
What you see on this pic can be seen at the corner of "rue des fossées saint-jacques" and "rue saint jacques" (not far from "Le Panthéon").
This inscription is just above an old house of the 16th century that is now a restaurant.
You can find many old inscriptions in Paris giving the names of the streets
