Contrast Incredible!!
Now you must look closely to see the difference in the two sides of this building.
When we looked up at the building it was obvious that one side was very clean and sparkling. The other marked with dirt and other signs of neglect.
The photo doesn't show the contrast quite like we observed it.
It was if someone had drawn a line of division from top to bottom to separate the structure into two distinct buildings.

Johnny,
you don't say where this building is located. Is it possible part of it was destroyed during WW2 and then later rebuilt with newer stone? Just a thought.

Dr. A, I can't remember where we found it but I know it is in Paris.

Actually, there are many buildings like this in Paris that simply don't get their cleaning at the same time. The co-op has to vote on it, unless it's so dirty the city demands it. Voting yes means more assessments, so some stay dirty.
