Not the Moulin Rouge...but a Moulin

On Rue Lapic ..Butte Montmartre we discovered, well found, Le Moulin Galette.

It seems to be floating in air until you look more closely.

That is why I love Paris. No matter where you turn a corner, you find something fabulous.

no prob Johnny - I thought it very amusing how they named the patisserie.

haxo - that's odd you mentioning Dalida because just by chance recently I came across a photo of her memorial in the Cimetière de Montmartre. I also found a couple of clips of her singing and she had a wonderful voice - I will have to search out some of her albums.

Johnny - have you come across this yet on your travels: - Le Passe-Muraille

Haxo...Merci beaucoup..Saved all those photos you led me to find and thanks to Dr. A. again.

We have several cd's of Dalida. I also have several of her concerts recorded on DVD. I also found a biopic of her on DVD. She was fabulous. What talent! What a sad life!
You will think me dumb but when we went to Paris in 2005 we thought she was still alive and we tried to find her in concert....what do we know...we live in Kentucky. I was really shocked when a stranger told us she had died ? years ago.
I must see that sculpture emerging from the wall. Wow!

Johnny, Le Moulin de la Galette is an excellent restaurant now (I think) and not very frequented actually. At least I have never had a problem getting in.

Here's another shot of the Passe Muraille taken from PDP. I like Dr. A's link as well.
