The glass makes it impossible to avoid reflections. However, you can still see the boat building in progress. The sketches of the trees in the right background show where the wood was found to make the hulls of the boats. The Y shape was the natural growth of the trees used for that purpose. We found this fascinating bit of information at the Musee de la Marine in Paris.
