Un Atelier du Louvre

This is where much of "it" happens. I guess we stumbled across this area when the workmen were at lunch. I don't know what the qualifications are for the people who make the Louvre the showcase for such exquisite masterpieces but I am sure they are under expert supervision. Fascinating as is the whole Louvre. Posted by Picasa

What an insight. I was in the Louvre for my 13th birthday ... which is ... much too long ago.

So you are in Paris, JP? Good for you! :)

Lynn: If you haven't seen what they've excavated since they built the pyramids in the 1980's, then you definitely need to go back. Believe me. It's incredible, what they found underneath. And then again, there is always the virtual tour online, of course, but it's not the same...

Hello Johnny, yeah, that is a very good photo, it looks as if you're uncovering a secret part of the museum, kinda the forbidden area!

I don't know what qualifications they have, but I take it it must be pretty tough.
